Whether it’s sorting, pricing or working at the cash register, volunteers are vital in helping Reuzit on State make a difference in the community and around the world. We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team.
Four Reasons to Volunteer
1. You will be encouraging the responsible use and reuse of resources. Additionally, you will be helping to recycle everything that does not sell within the recycling guidelines. Last year, we kept over 400 tons out of our landfills.
3. Proceeds from ReUzit on State's sales benefit Mennonite Central Committee. Since 1920, MCC has operated relief, development, and peace programs around the world and here in the US. You will be part of the thrift movement that has generated more than $167 million for the work of MCC. And that number continues to grow.
2. You will be helping to provide quality goods at affordable prices for our local community. You will be providing a welcoming and caring presence in our community for customers and with other volunteers.
4. Volunteering builds your resume and you gain friends who also care about working towards a better world. Volunteer with friends and do something meaningful while catching up with each other and be prepared to have fun in the process.
